Construction Accounts Payable required for a new home construction company.

About Our Client

Our Client is in the business of designing, building, marketing and selling new homes around the GTA.

Responsibility :

  • Full cycle accounts payable processing,bank reconciliations and HST fillings,
  • Processing of P.O.’s
  • Cross referencing to contracts
  • Investigate Invoice issues and discrepancies.
  • Entering or updating Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable and maintaining general ledger

Qualifications:

  • Post-Secondary graduate – Accounting Certification or working toward
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in construction payable accounting
  • Software systems (i.e. New-Star, REMS) preferred
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Excellent time management, and organizational Skills
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Ability to multi-task and manage work effectively
  • Strong work Ethic, attention to details, & a high degree of accuracy

Location is Vaughan

Job Type: Full-time

Required experience:

  • New home construction experience: 2 years
  • Accounts Payable: 2 years
