Overview
Our client, a leading Canadian brokerage firm is seeking to hire a career minded professional to join their Operations Tax & Estates team
Duties
As the Estates Specialist, you will be responsible for the administration of estate cases for our clients. These will vary from managing the initial notification of death, to partial/total estate disbursements, and estate residuals. To ensure accurate processing, appropriate documents need to be requested and reviewed for completeness. Follow up may be required on incomplete documentation, and appropriate alternatives may need to be suggested if required documentation is not available.
Qualifications
- 2 - 3 years of experience in an estates operations role
- Work experience within the brokerage industry or a clearing firm
- University Degree completed, an asset.
- Industry courses such as CSC, Estate & Trust Administration course, an asset
