Human Resources Manager: 3 Month Contract Position

 

Position Summary

 

We are currently looking for an HR Manager for our client in the Real Estate and Property Management field.  In this role you will Develop, implement, communicate and manage a broad range of HR initiatives/programs. Work collaboratively with external and internal partners/leaders to consult and provide expertise on people strategies pertaining to Employee Relations, Leadership Coaching, Talent Management, Recruitment, Performance Management, Compensation/Benefits/Incentives, Health/Safety/Wellness, Employee Engagement, Training/Development, Compliance/Policy Development and Communications. Oversee Payroll, Benefits & HR Administration to ensure our business processes and systems function efficiently across the company.

 

Day to day responsibilities

 
  • Manage all HR related aspects of the Employee Life Cycle from Offer to Termination.
  • Assist in Recruitment needs when consulted and necessary.
  • Manage day to day HR operations and ensure all runs smoothly.
  • Align HR Business Processes to enhance efficiency and service levels.
  • Respond to all HR related queries from employees and business leaders.
  • Communicate all HR Initiatives/Programs/Updates.
  • Maintain online training program for all employees.
  • Manage Performance Review cycle.
  • Manage Tenure Recognition Award program.
  • Manage semi-annual attendance reviews for all Regions.
  • Coordinate and manage disability process; continue to maintain needs for employees on disability and coordinate return to work.
  • Work with benefit consultants on all group benefit plan efforts – program enhancements, annual reviews and analysis, training and info sessions. Respond to all questions on group benefit plans.
  • Coach and consult with business leaders on employee and leadership issues – discipline, attendance or disability management, termination, benefits, etc.
  • Orientation and Onboarding for New Hires.
  • Create all employment related letters including Employment Offers, Termination letters, Confirmation of Employment Letters, Position Updates/Change letters, etc.
  • Work with leaders through termination process from consultation, to term estimates and employment closing coordination.
  • Lead Ontario Health and Safety Committee and manage needs as necessary.
  • Implement any mandatory or relevant HR Legislation for all employees/company.
  • Introduce and manage any new HR initiatives across the board.
  • Manage any health and wellness initiatives like Global Challenge, National Employee Benefits Day, Healthy Workplace Month, Flu Clinic, etc.
  • Manage Intranet HR Dashboard on a regular basis.
  • Maintain and update all HR documents on a regular basis.
  • NW Internet careers email and page; LinkedIn NW page maintenance.
  • Participate in Compensation Survey and any other surveys on various HR topics

 

Qualifications
- University degree and or college certificate/post grad diploma in Human Resources or related field
- Minimum of 7 years of HR generalist experience
  Knowledgeable about ESA, employment legislation
-Able to work independently
