Extream Dialogue/Streamweaver Developer

 

Our client a Financial Services company is currently looking for an Exstream Dialogue/Streamweaver Developer.  The successful candidate will possess a minimum of five years in development.  Experience in the financial services industry an asset.

 

Responsibilities:
  • Developer will assume the additional responsibilities of planning to leverage the technology and suggest other additions / improvements to continually improve the development and processing environments
  • Using identified standards, develop simple and complex document applications for client communications (statements, tax forms, confirms, contribution receipts, letters, reports and other output)
  • Compose and map incoming client data from multiple systems into advanced document applications / output
  • Develop internal tools and applications in support of unique customer and document design requirements, production and process enhancements.
  • Participate in development and implementation of standards for application development and job workflow. This includes developing standards on data file types, tools used for application types, proofing, output integrity, production, and turnaround time.
  • Support the organization in developing core document competencies, and act as technical subject matter expert on document technologies.

  • Participate in development and implementation of e-delivery document solutions
  • Keep abreast of relevant technology developments
  • Develop, implement and maintain enhancements to the existing applications, including design, coding, testing, and creating documentation on the following document types:
  • Transaction Confirmations
  • Contribution Receipts
  • Tax Credits and Tax Forms
  • Statements
  • Other custom applications
  • Perform system and problem analysis
  • Recommend and develop prototypes to represent proposed solutions
  • Prepare system design and systems support documentation
  • Participate in overall standards setting, tool evaluation, maintaining documentation on existing systems and processes
  • Design simple layout for different document types based on client requirements
  • Maintain existing applications and add new functionalities as required following approved standards
  • Responsible for analysis, design, construction and unit / system testing of Output and solutions
  • Consistent standards compliance
  • Impact / risk / audit assessment for each change
  • Input and suggestions for composition, packaging processing and automation efficiencies
  • Customer service focus
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Continue to develop and utilize advanced skills on document hardware and software technology to maximize effectiveness of OMS products, and to maximize return on technology investments in support of organizational objectives.
  • Develop internal tools and applications in support of unique customer and document design requirements, production and process enhancements.
  • Participate in development and implementation of standards for application development and job workflow. This includes developing standards on data file types, tools used for application types, proofing, output integrity, production, and turnaround time.
  • Participate in development of technical and business requirements, and evaluating supplier and partner technical and workflow offerings.
  • Provide technical support for overall suite of products and databases used within the team.
  • Using identified standards, provide testing support for the development of simple and complex document applications for client communications (statements, tax forms, confirms, contribution receipts, letters, reports and other output)
  • Manage test data and test environments
  • Maintain standards 

Qualifications:
  • University Degree/College Diploma or equivalent experience
  • Proven strong written and verbal communications
  • Strong documentation skills
  • Developer with strong development experience in Dialogue and/or other composition tools
  • Development experience in StreamWeaver packaging application is a valuable asset
  • Experience and understanding of document management technologies (minimum 5 yrs)
  • Experience in structured development processes and good understanding of programming concepts.
  • Strong analysis skills
  • Systems design experience
