LAND DEVELOPMENT PROJECT COORDINATOR 

LAND DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR required for successful builder/developer in the GTA who is known for their award winning master planned communities.    Our Client is looking for the successful candidate to be a key member of the development and planning team and who has a collaborative approach and one who embraces ongoing change and evolution in home building to provide exceptional product to their customers.  This is an environment that provides for personal growth and development and opportunity for upward mobility.

RESPONSIBILITIES include:

Advancing all aspects of this project including visioning and execution for development approvals, site servicing, construction, building permits and other similar responsibilities;
  • Providing the Development Manager with timely and accurate reporting for projects including scheduling and budget updates;
  • Leading effective and efficient meetings with internal management, external consulting teams, municipal officials, partners and others;
  • Ensuring in the short term that the milestones to deliver project approvals and infrastructure are met along with multiple developments scheduled for imminent construction.
  • Identifying project risk and leading mitigation efforts;
  • Preparing project budgets and working closely with our financial team to ensure deliverables are on time and on budget;
  • Assisting the Development Manager with the creation and update of pro-forma financial models for existing and/or future projects;
  • Researching and collecting information for pro-forma models and potential new opportunities;
  • Liaising with internal and external groups to gather supporting details and information for various development projects/opportunities;
  • Providing analytical support to Development and Construction leads for monthly reporting and accruals;
  • Coordinating on site construction services, meeting on site and reporting back to management.
  • Letter of Credit reduction and inspections along with acceptance and final Subdivision Assumption management.
