Insurance Office Administrator/ North Toronto!

Our client, an established   insurance brokerage with a staff of 12 is looking to hire a RIBO licensed insurance office administrator with hands on insurance bookkeeping expertise.    Due to a retirement, this friendly tenured group requires someone to become part of their team and handle the following responsibilities:
  • Open and closing of computer systems to run and distribute reports to CSR’ s each morning.
  • Orders Motor Vehicle Records   and run the Month End Reports such as Renewal Lists and Accounts Receivable Lists
  • Issues cheques from Trust Account to the insurers and reconcile them
  • Runs and submits the Retail Sales Tax report
  • Completes any E-funds transfers. 
  • Looks after the Travelers Insurance Portal in addition to inputting for   other Portals for Western Assurance, Aviva, Wawanesa and   Travelers
  • Handles all IT updates and changes
  • Takes the lead  for company audits by gathering files and reporting back to insurer
  • Handles calls from clients regarding insurance coverage and policies and acts as a resource to other staff members

Monday to Friday 9am-5pm

  • 5 plus years   working in operations and administration within an insurance brokerage
  • Experience using Applied Systems software is an asset
  • 3 years working in either a bookkeeping   or accounting role as it relates to insurance is a   must
  • Must be RIBO licensed
