Senior Software Developer(Full Time Role)

Job location - Mississauga, ON

Job Summary

Our client is looking for lead software developer with experience in C and C++.

Requirements
  • Master  of C/C++ as a general purpose language
  • Must be very strong in programming with C, C++
  • Experience with C#, Java, Python is a great asset
  • Understanding of Programming Design patterns and C/C++ best practices
  • Proficiency with GCC C/C++ development tool chain
  • Experience with developing multi threaded applications
  • Experience working with GIT version control, unit testing and CI
  • Experience writing high quality unit-tests

Qualifications and Skills
  • Hands on experience with C++11 standard
  • Solid exposure to platforms such as Linux.  
  • Knowledge or exposure to Tandem and NonStop is a big asset.
  • Proficiency with other programming languages such as C#, Java, Python etc.
  • Experience with Linux CLI tools, POSIX API and other system APIs
  • Experience developing system applications for exotic Unix or embed systems
  • Experience working with Scrum or other Agile development practices
  • Hands on experience writing complex unit-tests using Google C++ Testing Framework
