Job Description

Our client, a leading professional regulator is looking for an experienced  Bilingual Auditor to  independently handle the Ottawa region.  By working closely with the Toronto audit team you will prepare audit reports, provide suggestions to licensees for improvement or, in cases of serious breaches, may recommend referral to the Investigations team for further action.  Must be fluent in both English and French.  If you prefer to work remotely, book your own audit schedule and really oversee each audit independently then you may really enjoy this role.   

1-2 days of travel to licensee offices. 7 Month Contract due to a Secondment. 

Salary Range:  100-108k Plus 8% Vacation Pay

Qualifications required: 
  • A university degree,  coupled with a professional designation in law  ( LLB) or accounting ( CPA)  and membership in a recognized Canadian professional body.
  • A minimum of four years financial, regulatory or compliance auditing experience.
