PROJECT MANAGER, HIGH RISE CONSTRUCTION

SENIOR CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER required for leading high rise developer/builder in the GTA. Candidates must have " hands on" high rise experience to be considered for this position. Your responsibilities will include but not limited to the preparation and monitoring of budgets, continual review of construction drawings for accuracy, completeness and coordination with other consultants, quantity takes offs and costing, as required and in conjunction with estimators, tendering of all divisions of work, sourcing of suppliers and sub-trades for projects; negotiation with trades; ensuring that quotes are complete, development of scopes of work / contracts, prepare, monitor and update construction schedules, coordination of all shop drawing submissions and sub-trade submittals (drawings, documents, etc…), site preparation (ie. temporary connections, hoarding, survey work, site trailers, etc.), pre-construction site planning, obtaining of city and municipal permits, inspection of all phases of construction for quality control as per plans and specifications, meeting timelines and budget, providing site personnel with direction, accounting and associated administrative tasks and dealing with building turnover.
